Update 15 Dec 2011:
Dear friends,
It has come to my attention and is very regrettable, that someone has created a fake facebook profile claiming to be me yesterday. My real facebook account is http://www.facebook.com/rachael.counsellor and my real email is on this website.
This fake account has been reported to the police and to facebook. The police are currently investigating. This person has also been linked to 3 years worth of crank calls to my mobile.
It is tragic that this person would prey on me, my friends and the Asperger Community. It is especially sickening that someone would redirect my clients, who are in need, to a fake profile.
Thank you to those people who helped me gather information about this violation of privacy and for your support.
The advice from facebook and police is to please click on the report/block link at the bottom left of any fake profiles and report it to facebook.
regards,
Rachael
